Pokemon Welcomes Paldea Area and Gen 9 to Its Anime

The update went live this week when Pokémon Journeys published a new episode. The release comes after Ash's big win at the tournament deciding the world's top Pokémon trainer.

From its very first actions in the '90s, Pokémon has come a long method with its anime and video games. That was made clear this month when Pokémon Scarlet and Violet went live to spectacular sales.

What Are These Shorts?

The shorts, as you can see above, are one-minute jaunts through the Pale area with Group Rocket as our guides. While Jesse and James check out the colony, audiences are offered some looks at the huge region and all its greenery. Of course, the group likewise encounters its share of Pokémon, and the first Gen 9 debut comes thanks to Sprigatito.

The adorable grass-dark Pokémon is lovable in this little unique, and it provides us the anime's very first foray into Gen 9. Growth may be envious of the brand-new kitty, but the Group Rocket member won't have long to worry. There are two more specials on the horizon, and each will present one of the remaining Pale starters: Fresco and Equally.
